These terms govern your use of the Sirāj app and this website. By using Sirāj, you agree to them.
1. The service
Sirāj provides prayer times, the Qur'an, Ḥadīth, supplications, and related Islamic tools for personal, devotional use. We strive for accuracy, but the app is provided as an aid to worship and not as a substitute for scholarly verification where certainty is required.
2. Religious content
The Qur'an and Ḥadīth in Sirāj are drawn verbatim from established, verified sources and are presented for your benefit. Prayer times are calculated using well-known methods you can choose and adjust. For matters of religious ruling, please consult qualified scholars.
3. Accounts
An account is optional and used only to sync your data across devices. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple or Google sign-in secure. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
4. Supporter subscription
Sirāj is free to use. An optional Supporter subscription helps fund development and enables cross-device cloud sync. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and are managed in your store account, subject to their terms and refund policies.
5. Acceptable use
- Use Sirāj lawfully and respectfully.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service.
- Do not misrepresent the app's content or use the Sirāj name or marks without permission.
6. Disclaimer & liability
Sirāj is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
7. Changes
We may update the app and these terms over time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
