Common questions
My prayer times look off
Open Settings → Prayer and check your location and calculation method. Different communities follow different methods (e.g. Muslim World League, Umm al-Qurā, ISNA, Egyptian). You can also choose the Ḥanafī or Shāfiʿī Asr and apply per-prayer minute adjustments.
I'm not getting the adhān or prayer notifications
Make sure notifications are allowed for Sirāj in your phone's system settings, then enable them in the app under Notifications. To hear the adhān even when your phone is on silent (iOS critical alerts), turn on “Play even on silent.”
How do I sync across devices?
Sign in with Apple or Google from the Account screen. Syncing your bookmarks, last-read, trackers and settings is part of the Supporter tier. Sign in on each device with the same account.
How do I change the language or theme?
Open Quick Settings (the gear) for themes, or More → Language to switch among English, Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, French, Indonesian, Malay and Hausa. Arabic and Urdu display fully right-to-left.
How do I delete my account and data?
Account → Delete account removes your synced cloud data. On-device data is cleared when you uninstall the app.
